So that we can issue you care services, Angelic Healthcare collects and uses personal information about you. Personal information includes any information that can be used to identify a living person.

Personal information that we collect about you

Enquiries about care and support services

When enquiring about our services and completing our enquiry form, Angelic Healthcare collects the following personal information about you when provided to us:

  • Name and Last Name

  • Email address; Telephone Number; Postcode of you are the person needing care; emergency contacts (i.e name, relationship, email address and phone numbers)

  • Your feedback and contributions to questionnaires and surveys about the service we offer

  • Your complaints, compliments or concerns about the service we provide

  • Information on the services required

  • synopsis of the individual needing care

  • your likes, dislikes and lifestyle preferences (including your religious beliefs or other beliefs of a similar nature, racial or ethnic origin, politics, genetics, health, sex life, and sexuality (so far as they relate to providing you with suitable care)

  • credit or direct debit details (if you pay for some or all of our services using one of these methods)

Using Enquiry Form

If you complete our Enquiry form, we collect the following information:

  • Your name and Last Name

  • Email address / Telephone number;

  • Type of Enquiry.

We will use the above information, in order to respond to your query.

If you contact us by email and telephone, we will only collect and process the personal data which you provide to us and it shall only be used for the purposes for which you provide your personal data to us.  For example, if you contact us with an enquiry about the provision of care, we may take your details to forward them to our Angelic Healthcare Office. We will not retain your data or use your data for any other purpose.

There may be a case where external sources may provide personal information about you to us. This includes:

  1. Social or health care professionals who are individuals or a group that administers direct services and may provide health care treatment upon training and experience. This could include a medical practitioner, dental practitioner, pharmacist, clinical psychologist, nurse, midwife, medical assistant, physiotherapist, occupational therapist, social workers, General Practitioner (GP) and other care related professionals.

  2. Public Bodies who are any organisation in the United Kingdom that improve the quality and consistency of services for patients, carers and their families.

Here are some reasons we use personal information obtained about you from external sources, not already mentioned before:

  • Allergies of individual needing care; any needs in particular of individual needing care; mental or physical conditions of patient

  • Lifestyle preferences and tastes of individual needing care

Enquires about Careers at Angelic Healthcare

All enquiries in relation to live-in roles are managed by us at Angelic Healthcare Ltd.
If you are using the Website/Platform to apply or join as one of our registered carers, we will collect and store further personal information, including but not limited to:

  • Information you supply to us during the application process and thereafter. Personal data such as:

    • Qualifications, professional skills and other experiences (CV), personal preferences (activities of daily living you enjoy or animal preferences), nationality, languages, results of background checks (see below) and any other personal data which you disclose to use for use in your profile.

    • A photograph of your face, which we may take for you and display on your profile to our clients.. A photograph of your face is required in order that the clients can know who the person they are booking is and identify them when letting them into their home. This is important for the safety and security of Users.

  • Supplemental information about you from third parties, for example results of background checks carried out by Trust ID and Security Watchdog including and not limited to; Enhanced DBS (criminal records check including spent convictions), identity and right to work checks. The results of these checks will be shared with us by the third party provider. Information obtained for the purposes of verifying your work history and reference checks or that information obtained by way of face to face interview.

Information might be provided; directly from you; from a third party hiring platform or job board, which you uploaded a CV or other personal information to; or, where you have been referred to us to work through the platform; or engaged with us via social media channels. We will not use data from the open internet in this regard; we will only gather information about you where you have previously intended to let us know. Personal information collected from social media channels may include that which is detailed on your profile such as; name, location, work details.

We may collect data and feedback from clients and reference it against your profile as this is important for the safety of Users. This information will not be publicly available on your profile.

When using our website, we collect standard internet log information including:

  • IP address

  • Details of the pages you visit

  • General details about the type of computer or device that you are using

This is statistical information only which we collect in order to find out the numbers of visitors to our site and the pages they have visited. This information is collected in such a way that it is not used to identify individuals. How we use your personal information collected about you

Listed are some of the reasons we use personal information we obtain about you:

  • Promoting our services, offers and products by providing you marketing communications tailored and sent to you

  • Notifying you of change to our services

  • Prepare a care plan suited to your needs

  • Provide a means of communications with you or any representatives about the needs specific to you

  • Improve our service for our clients needs in carrying out Quality Assurance protocols

Who we share your personal information with

We regularly share your medical information with appropriate external social or health care professionals (including your GP and pharmacist) and any individuals you have nominated as your representative. This data sharing enables us to establish the type of care and support you need. It also allows us to design the right care package to suit your individual circumstances, including if (in future) you decide to receive care from an alternative provider.

We will share personal information with law enforcement or other authorities if required by law. This includes information required by public bodies to evidence our compliance with the applicable regulatory framework. We are also required to share personal information with external social or health care professionals, including public bodies and local safeguarding groups (in some circumstances) to ensure your safety.

We will not share, sell or trade your personal information with any other third party.

How long we keep your personal information

We will only retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.

How we keep your personal information safe

The confidentiality and security of your information is of paramount importance to us. We have appropriate security measures in place to prevent personal information from being accidentally lost, or used or accessed in an unauthorised way. We limit access to your personal information to those who have a genuine business need to know it. Those processing your information will do so only in an authorised manner and are subject to a duty of confidentiality.

We also have procedures in place to deal with any suspected data security breach. We will notify you and any applicable regulator of a suspected data security breach where we are legally required to do so.

  • Article 6(1)(c) – processing is necessary for us to demonstrate compliance with our regulatory framework and the law

  • Article 9(2)(h) – processing is necessary for the provision of social care or the management of social care systems and services

as the lawful basis on which we collect and use your personal data and special category data (such as your health).

We also rely on Article 6(1)(f) of GDPR to process your personal information in pursuit of our legitimate interests, which includes marketing purposes, corporate due diligence and financial modelling, service development and innovation so we can continue to develop and improve our services

Your Rights

Under the GDPR you have a number of important rights free of charge. In summary, those include rights to:

  • fair processing of information and transparency over how we use your use personal information;

  • access to your personal information and to certain other supplementary information that this Privacy Notice is already designed to address;

  • require us to correct any mistakes in your information which we hold;

  • require the erasure (i.e. deletion) of personal information concerning you, in certain situations. Please note that if you ask us to delete any of your personal information which we believe is necessary for us to comply with our contractual or legal obligations, we may no longer be able to provide care and support services to you;

  • receive the personal information concerning you which you have provided to us, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and have the right to transmit those data to a third party in certain situations;

  • object at any time to processing of personal information concerning you for direct marketing;

  • object to decisions being taken by automated means which produce legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affect you;

  • object in certain other situations to our continued processing of your personal information;

  • otherwise restrict our processing of your personal information in certain circumstances;

  • claim compensation for damages caused by our breach of any data protection laws;
